The Billy Ireland Cartoon Library
& Museum’s Grand Opening Festival of Cartoon Art, will be held at The
Ohio State University in Columbus, OH November 14th-17th. The Festival, a
celebration of cartoons, comics and their creators, is held every three years.
This year they also celebrate the opening of their new expanded facility in
Sullivant Hall. Guests and speakers include, Ohio State alumni, Jeff Smith and
Paul Pope, also Brian Bassett, Matt Bors, Eddie Campbell, Kazu Kibuishi, Stephan
Pastis, Dylan Meconis, Patrick McDonnell, Hilary Price and Jaime and Gilbert
Hernandez.
And even though it's not in Columbus, Columbus should be well represented at Genghis Con in Cleveland!
