Hello All,
I am pleased to officially announce the return of Mix: CCAD's
Celebration of Comics, a symposium designed to bring together diverse academic
and artistic perspectives in one event. I have attached the symposium's Call for
Proposals, which features an expanded range of presentation formats and five
suggested themes. I would be grateful if you might share the CFP and/or the link
to our event page (see below) with your colleagues. Naturally, I hope you'll
consider joining us for this exciting weekend, too.

Location: Columbus College of Art and Design,
Columbus, OH
In conjunction with the symposium, CCAD will host a
never-before-seen exhibit of Smith's original artwork from RASL. We will
also hold a comics contest for undergraduate students.
Additionally, concurrent with Mix 2013, CCAD will exhibit the
paintings of Gary Panter (Jimbo in Purgatory, Dal Tokyo).
