Brandon
Spicer:
“Battlefield Comics was founded by illustrator Brandon
Spicer.
Brandon is a freelance illustrator based in central Ohio. He discovered his
love for comic book art when he was a young child and was inspired by artists
like J.Scott Campbell, Frank Cho, Jim Balant, Adam Hughes, Todd McFarlane, Tim
Vigil, Stephen Gammell and too many others to list, but all equally just as
important.
From 2000-2004 he contributed miscellaneous art for “Dungeon Crawler Magazine”
which was nominated in 2001 for a 2000 Origins Award for Best Amateur Game
Periodical.
In 2008 he began working with comic book publishers, penciling and inking
sequential art, pin-ups, covers and illustrations. He has contributed to
multiple books by PLB Comics and is the winner of the Critters Annual Readers
Poll in 2020 for “Best Books Cover Artwork.”

Joshua Ray Stephens makes comics that have been beamed to
him from a future dystopic timespace
Katie Starr:
Katie Starr is a cybersecurity analyst and budding comics writer and artist.
She is the co-founder of Comics in the Circle, a local comics meetup-group for
adults to sit and draw comics, and she hopes to continue fostering the
ever-growing Cleveland comics-making scene. Katie has recently started
self-publishing her work, including personal zines such as Crickets, humor
comics based on manga such as Pronomore, and animating her finished comics.
Steven Stothard:
PM Press is an independent, radical publisher of critically necessary books and
comics for our tumultuous times. Our aim is to deliver bold political ideas and
vital stories to all walks of life and arm the dreamers to demand the
impossible. Founded in 2007 by a small group of people with decades of

Steve Steiner:
Steve Steiner makes a variety of weird and humorous comics and zines. He is
currently working on his series Odd Clods, collections of strange comics
printed on over-sized broadsheet newspapers.
Jaromir Stoll:
Jaromir Stoll (they) makes comics and zines on ecology, grief, and the
ineffable in life. They also research comics cultures in India and are
co-editing the upcoming book, Turn the Page! Illustrating India's Comics
Scenes.
Tae:
Taè is a southern emo, erotic author, and gore whore. Her work focuses on
emotionally volatile girls, their romantic exploits, and the horror that
ensues. SNUFFED is her first published comic.
Chandu Tennety:
Chandu Tennety is a self-taught artist and has been drawing for as long as he
can remember. He lives in Ohio with his musician spouse and daughter (an artist
in her own right) and loves to linger in the spaces between reality and
metaphor.
