SPACE 2016 is a Wrap!

The winter wonderland of  Small Press & Alternative Comics Expo (SPACE) 2016 was a great time. I hope everybody made it safely home. The free admission increased attendance by about 33 percent.  We'll never be sure of the exact number but we got an estimate from the program book count.

I'd like to thank both exhibitors and attendees. Thanks for braving the weather and making the show a success.  Also thanks to all the SPACE Prize and program book sponsors who really lightened the financial burden and helped make the free admission possible. We also increased table price slightly so thanks to the exhibitors for helping make the free admission possible. Thanks to the Northland Performing Art Center for doing a great job hosting us. A special thanks to the Laughing Ogre and the Kafe Kerouac for the great pre- and after-parties and Caitlin McGurk for organizing the after party.  And a big thanks you to the SPACE crew my wife, Kathy, my son, Bob, Tracy Santos and Richard Ketterjohn.
We'll be back next year once again at the Northland Performing Art Center on March 25 & 26, 2017.
