After writing the first draft of Amiculus as a ten-page play in college, he began adapting it as a comic in 2007, intending it to be a short 32-page project to test the waters for a longer series. Six years and 162 pages later, it has become an epic unto itself. Travis currently lives in Columbus, Ohio.

Clare Kolat:
The ongoing tales of Spiffy the Spacegirl follow Spiffy, a bounty hunter or as she prefers to say, "retrieval specialist," on her adventures around the galaxy. In episode 1 she meets a less than appealing character in a space cantina. While she doesn't shoot first, she certainly lets the them know what she's all about! More episodes to come!
Kris Lachowski:
"Kris (not Kristopher) Lachowski (Pronounced like “The House Key” except the English word “the” is replaced with a Spanish word for “the”, which at least according to Google Translate is sometimes “La”. If that’s not correct I don’t know what to tell you, I don’t speak Spanish, and you’ve taken us waaaaay off topic. ) …anyway… Kris makes silly drawings, which are often juxtaposed with inane words published under the imprint “Mean Goat Comics”. Doing so brings amusement and fulfillment to his life and I… I mean he (‘cuz Kris is totally important enough to not write his own bio-blurb) hopes others enjoy his silly words and inane pictures as well. "
Josh Lindner:
Sam would love to see the world someday. The only problem being he is terrified of almost anything. But as luck would have it, Sam's friends love to give him the gentle- yet very firm - push he needs to move forward. You take a step through a door and it could take you anywhere, it could show you the world, but maybe not our world.

Tired, Sore & Hoarse
I’m tired, sore and hoarse today… but it was worth it. After
seeing all the creative energy this weekend I’m excited to start new projects
and start working on SPACE 2015. I
couldn’t ask for a better community of friendly people enjoying our common love
for the comics medium. It keeps me going.
Thanks to all the exhibitors for making SPACE such a joy to
put on each year and everybody I sucked into doing panels which provided all the great
programming.
Also thanks to Nate Powell for allowing us an early look at
March Book Two before anybody else. Nate
and Ken Eppstein also deserve a hardy thanks for being troopers for singing the
night away and then getting up in a few hours to make us look good on local TV.
Thanks to Stang and the crew at the Laughing Ogre for the great
party Friday night and to Caitlin McGurk (the unstoppable force) and Kafe Kerouac for the comics reading and
karaoke after party on Saturday.
Thanks to all the people who came to see all the incredible work.
I‘d like to especially thank my wife, Kathy, my brother,
Ron, my son, Bob and Fate Spears for
running the show with me. (Check out the
great work Fate does with the Comic Book Connection Initiative https://www.facebook.com/CBCI.Cols
Hope everybody had a safe trip home and hope to see you all
again next year.

John Porcellino was born in Chicago, in 1968, and has been writing, drawing, and publishing minicomics, comics, and graphic novels for over twenty-five years. His celebrated self-published series King-Cat Comics, begun in 1989, has inspired a generation of cartoonists. According to cartoonist Chris Ware, "John Porcellino's comics distill, in just a few lines and words, the feeling of simply being alive."
