"Crime Cats" have been recommended by "Columbus Parent" magazine, Columbus Metropolitan Library, and Parker made the "Columbus' Best Authors" list in the 2015 CoumbusUnderground reader's poll.

Ghastly Yarns includes two movies, a horror comic and over a dozen short horror stories. The tone is decidedly "EC-ish" and the stories are always geared toward a simplistic, old school horror feel.
Deanna Poppe:
Deanna Poppe has been coloring comics since 2011. Deanna is the colorist the sci-fi webcomic Banished, found at www.banishedonline.com. She is also the color assistant for Wilde Life by Pascalle Lepas (wildelifecomic.com) and No Need for Bushido by Alex Kolesar and J.W. Kovell (nn4b.com). She has a soft spot for goblins, and her goblins and other work can be seen at deedylovescake.tumblr.com/tagged/goblins. Deanna currently resides in Southwest Ohio with her husband and son.

Sean Poppe has been drawing comics since 2011. His short comic "You Don't Remember" premiered in Boo! Vol. 2 #1, and has since contributed to several issues of Boo!. His art is featured in a number of small-press table-top RPG publications including CRAWL!, Vacant Ritual Assembly, and Undercroft. He is the author of the Wolf Dasher series of fantasy-thriller mash-up novels, several modern fairy tales, and a series of comical memoirs about his childhood ("My True-Life Adventure" series). Prior to becoming a novelist, he was an award-winning game designer.
He lives in Columbus, Ohio, with his wife, their children, a dog, and a cat. It is rarely quiet, but it's often entertaining. His current projects include the next book in the Wolf Dasher series, world peace, and desperately wishing for the Cincinnati Bengals to win a Super Bowl in his lifetime.

Stu Rase is a thirty-something High School teacher, freestyle rapper, and comic book writer. He's the author and artist of two books: Teacher Strips, auto-biographical humor about memorable moments in his classroom; and The Undad, an all-ages book about a zombie father trying to raise his daughter.
Before becoming a teacher, Stu performed all over the country as an improvisational comedian. After becoming a teacher, he's given up on most of his dreams, had a kid, and spends his free time huddled over an art board desperately clinging to his youth.

Of mixed-race heritage, it is commonplace for stray hands to make their way into her hair. She enjoys toying with stereotypes and exposing identity in her work. In her youth, she was captivated by Japanese cartoons and is occasionally found playing dress-up as some of her favorite characters. Her first published work was a monthly high-school newspaper comic titled Orange Drink. She currently believes she’s developed a sophisticated palate due to her interest obscure artsy anime.

Writer of The Black Ansaar and Other Stories Anthology
Hailing from Flint, Michigan, Sinister Undertone Comics has been in development for over 8 years. Starting with the idea for a vampire in Flint (Karma) which later formed into 12 different titles and 132 different characters (not including minor supporting characters). Not pulling any punches, S.U.C. dabbles in anything from religion to conspiracy theory all while dancing in moral shades of gray. Sinister Undertone Comics has quickly began to gather a name for itself on Facebook (facebook.com/Sinisterundertone) and Twitter (@SinisterUndertn) as well in the underground comic communities of the country. With their success at Detroit Fan Fare in 2013, the momentum has built to an almost religious fervor! S.U.C. already has a fan base that is anxiously awaiting the company’s 2 launch titles: “Karma” and “the 7″.
